Man of few words

I was thinking about A-Rod and his night on the town with his mystery blonde, which included dinner and strip clubs. Seeing as though he is the highest paid player in MLB baseball at $250 million Dollar man will that make his potential ex-wife the $125 million dollar ex-wife seeing as though she may be entitled to half A-Rods assets?

May practicum has come and gone. For the most part it was fairly good other than the fact the Phys ed teachers outright told us they didn't want student teachers and that the of student teacher I was with is buddies with the phys ed teacher and all they talked about was Cricket and I wanted to claw my eyes out... Let me tell you how much I am looking forward to spending 5 weeks in Early November with the same people.

I wish I knew why stores such as the Gap and Nike do not ship merchandise to Canada off of their websites. Does the idea of 27 million potential buyers not appeal to these companies? Seeing as though clothes are expensive and of poor taste here in Oz I was hoping to get some stuff sent over here by purchasing off their webpages, but NOPE. I just do not understand.

John Cacayuran ex-roommate and future visitor of Oz recently ran the Manitoba marathon in a stunning 1h45m. Congrats to him. He will be arriving in Sydney July 8th where we will be spending some time before shipping off to Brisbane and then back to Adelaide. It will be a hoot.

I have one remaining assignment due before the end of the semester... a pass or fail 2000 word essay. Why in the world i have a pass or fail class is beyond me. People will be able to hand in terrible essays and they will be deemed to be just as adequate as say an "A" paper makes no sense to me.

I must confess after having everyone tell me how great the weather was last summer in Winnipeg, I'm enjoying the wet weather and potentially life sized mosquitoes you guys and gals will be getting.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I now have a monopoly on danmitchell13 e-mail addresses as I have signed up for yahoo, hotmail and g-mail all in the same name just in case I decide to switch. I'm quite happy with my yahoo address, but it seems to be inundated with junk mail, which is becoming increasingly aggravating.

Well not too much to share right now... I hope everyone is well.

THINGS I LIKE THIS WEEK
  • The end of my practicum
  • End of the semester
  • The rain

THINGS I DON'T LIKE THIS WEEK

  • Birds who keep eating my grass seed

I am happy with the frequency of your posts lately. I enjoy reading them and find myself unsure of what to do with myself when months pass and there are no new posts on you blog. Keep up the good work!

I have to say that I like the “Pass or Fail” type of grade. That’s probably because I’ve never been one to get marks in the 90’s or even in the 80’s for that matter. I do understand why it would bother someone who got a mark in the 90’s, but does it really matter how much you pass by… A pass is a pass and a fail is a fail. You should try not to be so competitive, and just be happy with a passing grade.

The mosquitoes are coming out, but the weather has also been pretty good. I seem to enjoy the rain (as I believe that you do), so if I had to give the weather a grade up to this point, I would give it a Pass. It has been pretty good weather for the garden! I think that this is going to be the best summer ever… Wish you were here!
